Two in One

This carving is interesting in that it has two characters in one log. The first image is Krampus. He is in German folk lore as a creature that goes after the naughty kids and swats them with his stick. On the opposite side of the log is St. Nicholas. He is based off of an actual person that rewards good kids with gifts and treats. The legend has its origin in the Turkish area. I created this carving to observe the German-American Citizens League 2025 meeting at the Moerlein Lager House's Christkindlmart in Cincinnati Ohio.

Scott Sprague Guitar

This carving has special meaning in that I carved it as a memorial for my Father-in-law who was an amazing musician and one of the best guitarists in the Cincinnati area. He passed away leaving a huge legacy including an annual music concert in the City of Bellevue Kentucky, his hometown.

Lorax

This little guy was carved at the Banks in Cincinnati. It was created during the annual Earth Day celebration put on by the Cincinnati Parks and Recreation.

Posing Owl

This little owl was at the Earth Day Celebration at the Banks in Cincinnati. He stood nice and still while posing next to a carving of a barred owl.
